As I have discussed in the past, Coca-Cola products range from country to country. This is part of the reasoning behind my collection of Coke cans from every country I visit. The last time I was in Japan I had the displeasure of sampling clear Coke, and today I discovered another interesting variation of the most iconic soft drink ever.

I’m not the type of person to drink energy drinks. I’m not a Kyle who chugs Monster on the daily while listening to Kamikaze. Nor am I the person who casually sips Redbull for essentially no reason. I drank this for this blog post, for the taste test, and for the clout. Nothing else. With that said, this is nothing to write home about. It tastes like a normal can of Coke for the most part, with an odd cherry aftertaste. If you drank some cherry DayQuil and then used the same cup to drink Coke, you would get exactly the same flavor sensation.
I didn’t even feel energized after I finished it. I stood on the train for 20 minutes and listened to Stephen A. Smith sob about the incompetence of his New York Knicks.
Overall, I didn’t particularity enjoy this. I would drink it if it was offered to me, but I certainly wouldn’t buy it again.
